Aadaya Adlam

Bio:

As a resident of lockleaze for 7 years and long standing trustee for lockleaze Neighbourhood Trust, I have been an advocate and a voice fighting for the needs and wants of the community. Organising and supporting events such as unity Festival and more. I have been nominated and won many awards for my volunteering skills and recognised for my contributions within lockleaze. I stand up for all young people, for families and for the elderly to create social and safe spaces where all can enjoy. To preserve our green spaces and to continue the work of Gill and estella in supporting the developments of homes that are sustainable for all. I want to support local businesses  run by local People and to maintain and develop more amenities here in lockleaze. I will always listen to understand and do all within my power to make lockleaze even greater.

Theresa: “A priority for me is the health and wellbeing of the Lockleaze community, especially in the aftermath of the covid-19 pandemic. This means not only good access to healthcare but a clean, green and safe environment to live in. I am pleased to see there will be extra care housing for older people. I am keen to see that everyone has good access to GP appointments and community health care.”
