Labour’s Horfield Candidates:

Phillipa Gardom

Phillpa is a local Labour activist and campaigner on environmental and women’s issues. She is passionate that everyone has the opportunities to meet their potential, and aren’t held back by income or poor housing. She will fight for our public services to stay open and stay funded – from Upper Horfield Children’s Centre to lifesaving facilities at Southmead Hospital. She has worked on green issues, understanding the need for people to get around out of their cars – but this will only happen with a reliable, timely transport network which works for everyone.

Tom Renhard

Tom has lived in Horfield for over four and a half years. He is a passionate mental health campaigner, fighting to protect mental health services and calling for more funding so people can access the support they deserve. He is a strong advocate for tenant’s rights, campaigning to ensure we can all live in a home that is a decent standard, without fear of eviction. Tom knows how important it is for people and communities to be effectively represented at City Hall and pledges to enable local residents to have a strong voice on issues that matter.
