Labour’s Clifton Down Candidates:
Elliott is a Politics and International Relations student currently studying at the University of Bristol. He has significant practical experience as a retail worker and has an interest in housing and planning, especially at the local level. He believes in strong community empowerment, social justice and the importance of continuously learning from others because each person you meet has a unique experience which can enrich your understanding of the world. A footballer since as long as he can remember, he has an undying love for the game whether it be playing it on the Downs or talking about it with mates. Elliott during the pandemic has particularly missed spending time with his family and friends as well as spontaneously exploring Bristol. Elliott wants to deliver a transformative Green New Deal for Bristol, take action to ensure affordable and diverse housing in Clifton Down and improve transport to ensure it’s affordable for all. He is seeking election to build on the brilliant work Labour has achieved in the past five years and secure a better future after the pandemic to reduce inequality and meet the ecological crisis facing our city.
